NBTA European Championships 2010 - The task was to supply a large scale signage solution to display competitors names and relevant messages during the event taking place at Meadowbank Sports Centre over the Easter Weekend 2010. The shot below was taken after the event closed with all the lights turned on - the screen is 7 metres wide, in a 16x9 format.

The screen, projector and rigging were installed the day before rehearsals with a 10 metre clearance. On the day of rehearsals the laptop, scaler, monitor and control system were installed and the client checked over the series of preconfigured slide formats designed to meet the supplied specifications. At this point suggested amendments were made to ensure that the onscreen display would accurately convey the required information to the audience in the hall. In addition to competitors, and event names, a series of slides were created for the opening and closing ceremonies, and the awards ceremonies (which featured the raising of virtual flags). A high powered XF47 projector was used and information was mainly keyed in live as the event progressed.
